CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol. This is an active substance found in hemp and cannabis. CBD and THC are the two main constituents (also called cannabinoids) in marijuana. When is it better not to use CBD?

Medicinal CBD is usually dispensed in liquid form. You buy it in a bottle. Always stick carefully to the advised dosage. Before using CBD oil, shake the bottle briefly. Apply the liquid under the tongue and make sure it stays there for at least half a minute before swallowing the CBD. This way, the active ingredients can be absorbed into the blood as quickly and well as possible and you will achieve the optimal effect.

Chaga:
Chaga (Nonotus Obliquus) heeft als bijnaam het zwarte goud. Deze paddenstoel doet het vooral goed in koude gebieden. Vandaar dat je hem voornamelijk terugvindt in gebieden als Canada, Siberië en Noord-Europa. Van buiten ziet deze zwarte schimmel eruit als verband hout maar van binnen straalt hij.

Cordyceps Militaris:
Cordyceps is een paddenstoel met misschien wel de meest interessante geschiedenis. Oorspronkelijk groeide hij namelijk alleen op de rug van insecten, vandaar de bijnaam rupsendoder. Gelukkig kan een specifieke variant, de Cordyceps Militaris, ook op een natuurlijk voedingsbodem gekweekt worden. Die gebruiken wij ook in de vegan friendly Power 5 formule.

Lion’s Mane:
Lion’s Mane, of Hericium Erinaceus, is een unieke medicinale paddenstoel. Deze witte schimmel kennen we ook als pruikzwam en heeft wereldwijd de bijnaam nature’s nutrient for the neurons gekregen. Deze paddenstoel wordt ook vaak gebruikt als aanvulling tijdens microdosing.

Reishi:
Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) wordt in China al ruim 2000 jaar gebruikt. Ze kennen hem daar als Lingzhi en paddenstoel van onsterfelijkheid. Een bijzondere bijnaam voor een bijzondere zwam! Mycologen van over de hele wereld zijn lovend over deze bruinrode paddenstoel die absoluut niet mag ontbreken in onze Power 5 formule.

Turkey Tail:
Turkey Tail (Trametes/Coriolus Versicolor) is een paddenstoel met een haast legendarische status. In China en Japan zijn ze al eeuwenlang groot fan van deze schimmel. De voornaamste reden is de aanwezigheid van PSK en PSP, waar enkele bijzondere eigenschappen aan gelinkt worden. Ook in Europa krijgt de Turkey Tail steeds meer aandacht, je kunt hem bijvoorbeeld kennen uit de film Fantastic Fungi.

Voor extra effectiviteit hebben wij de capsules verrijkt met Vitamine C en Zink. Zowel Vitamine C als Zink ondersteunen het immuunsysteem en de afweer van het lichaam.
