Wanneer je het vruchtlichaam van Turkey Tail bekijkt dan lijkt deze verdacht veel op de, je raad het al, staart van een kalkoen! Deze soort groeit voornamelijk op afgebroken takken en stronken uit het woud waarvan hij zich voedt en het ontbindingsproces verzorgd. Dit Turkey Tail vloeibaar extract is, net als alle producten, vervaardigd van de vruchtlichamen van deze bijzondere paddenstoel. Wij gebruiken niet het mycelium wat op graan wordt gekweekt.
